Aura Painting – Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of This Agreement
By navigating aurapaintingla.com, submitting an estimate form, or retaining the professional services of Aura Painting, you officially agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below. If you do not agree to these conditions, please refrain from using our platform or services.
Scope of Professional Services
Aura Painting delivers high-quality residential, commercial, interior, exterior, and specialized roof coating services across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Every project we undertake requires an official written estimate and a mutually signed contract before any physical labor begins.
- Our Crew: Every project is executed by our own trained, licensed field employees — we never deploy unvetted third-party subcontractors to your property.
- Quotes: All initial project estimates are completely free and carry no obligation.
- Contracts: A formal, written contract must be finalized before setup begins.
- Transparency: All material specifications, project timelines, and exact pricing details are locked in writing prior to starting.
Pricing Accuracy and Expirations
All custom quotes provided by our team remain valid for exactly 30 calendar days from the date of issuance. Final project costs are locked in the signed agreement. Any adjustments, additions, or modifications to the project scope requested after the initial signing will be documented clearly via a written Change Order and approved by both parties before that additional work takes place.
Financial Terms
Specific milestones for payments are detailed transparently within your individual service contract. Generally, our financial framework requires:
- A designated project deposit securement prior to setting up equipment.
- The remaining final balance settlement immediately following the final walkthrough and customer sign-off.
- Payment through the verified methods specified in your active agreement.
- Overdue invoices may incur late fee adjustments as outlined in your contract.
Two-Year Workmanship Warranty
We stand firmly behind our work by offering a 2-year written warranty on standard residential painting projects. The specific terms, limitations, and surface expectations are detailed inside your service agreement. This warranty applies strictly to defects in our direct application under normal environmental conditions. It does not cover damages originating from:
- Severe weather anomalies, earthquakes, or acts of nature.
- Accidental or intentional physical damage caused by third parties.
- Neglecting post-project cleaning and surface care protocols.
- Internal structural shifting, foundational settling, or pre-existing stucco/substrate structural failures.
Client Preparation and Responsibilities
- To ensure an efficient workflow and a flawless finish, clients agree to:
- Grant our painting crew unhindered access to the designated work areas during scheduled business hours.
- Relocate or secure fragile valuables, personal belongings, and furniture prior to our arrival.
- Alert our team to any known structural liabilities, electrical issues, or hazardous materials on-site.
- Provide active access to necessary job site utilities, including water and electricity.
Project Postponement and Cancellation
Clients may cancel or reschedule an upcoming project by providing our office with a written notice at least 48 hours before the set start time. Cancellations made inside the 48-hour window may be subject to a standard cancellation fee. If specialty paints or custom materials have already been mixed or ordered for your project, you will be responsible for those materials or restocking costs.
Liability Limits
Aura Painting’s maximum financial liability for any service-related claim is strictly limited to the total monetary amount paid by the client for that specific contract. We are not liable for any secondary, accidental, or indirect damages. We operate with comprehensive liability insurance protection, and verification certificates are readily available upon request.
Licensing and Compliance
We operate as a fully insured and state-licensed painting contractor in California. Our teams strictly enforce EPA lead-safe work practices across all applicable properties. Our licensing credentials and active insurance details can be provided upon request, ensuring complete compliance with all regional and state laws.
